Hunters FC defeated Fulham FC by 2 to nil in the ongoing Serekunda West Development Organisation’ssummer Nawattan on the 24th of September, 2024.
Goals from Joseph Auber in the 12 minute and Tony Mankabou in the 45 minute gave Hunters FC the victory and they also controlled the match.
In a post-match interview, Ebrima Bah, the head coach of Fulham FC, said that the result was undesirable because they wanted a win in the game but eventually lost it. He encouraged his boys to go back to the field and work harder again to fight for the maximum three points in the next fixture.
Hamza Badjie, the head coach of Hunters FC, said he is very excited about the result, and he is not surprised about winning the game because he has trust in his boys’ performance.
He said that they worked for it because they started the training since the Super Cup was going on.”So only a win can be our results.”
Hunters have 6 points, while Fulham has only one point.
