The Governor of Central River Region (CRR) and his Deputy recently made a courtesy call at Conateh Jula Enterprise’s (CJE) located at Kunting village in the CRR north where the CEO of the enterprise Sillah Conateh took them on a conducted tour within the shop facilities.
After a tour of the facility, Governor Ousman Bah expressed his impression of the good initiative of Mr. Conateh over the establishment which he described as dear to his community and CRR in general.
“This will reduce the traveling burden of CRR’s people to Kombo to acquire materials now available at their door-steps here at Conteh Jula Enterprise in Kunting,” Governor Bah informed.
According to Governor Bah, people within CRR can easily access building materials, food provisions, and electrical items without traveling far away to Banjul to acquire such materials.
He described the qualities of products at CJE as commendable and he encouraged the CEO to do more for the people of Kunting and CRR in general.
“My office door is always open to you anytime you need advice from me. Involve young people into enterprise business, it will deter them from searching greener pastures in Europe.” Governor Bah stated.
The Niani Kunting-born citizen, Alhagie Sillah Conateh, CEO of Conateh Jula Enterprise (CJE) informed Governor Bah and his deputy that his enterprise was established in September 2020 to provide the residents of Kunting and satellite communities with easy access to items including food, building and electrical materials.
“Access to these items before the establishment of my Enterprise proved very difficult for the people of Niani. But today, I’m happy that the enterprise is contributing immensely to alleviating suffering faced by people of this community,” CEO. Conateh told the governor and his deputy.
He expressed happiness about the Governor and his entourage’s visit to his enterprise in particular, by taking his time conducting a tour of the departments without any exclusion. “This is a great source of encouragement to me and my workers,” he added.
