The Brikama Magistrates’ Court is expected to sentence one Abdoul Karim Barry following his admission of guilt for “Kush” trafficking.
Abdoul Rahman appeared before Magistrate K.B Sambou on Tuesday on charges of “possession of prohibited drug for the purpose of drug trafficking” contrary to Section 43 (4) (e) of the Drug Control Act 2005, Laws of The Gambia.
Prosecuting on behalf of the Drug Law Enforcement Agency of The Gambia, Moses Demba said Abdoulwas found in possession of 2kg and 100g of Kush on 5 September 2024, at the Giboro border post.
The case was adjourned to 4 October 2024, for sentencing.
