Luzan FC and Jeshwang City gain top spot after a 1 all draw against Luzan FC, in the ongoingSerekunda West Sports DevelopmentOrganisation’s Summer Nawettan, on October 2nd, 2024.
Assan Ceesay broke the deadlock in the 18th minute to give an advantage to Luzan FC.
His goal stood as the divider between the two teams at the end first half.
Omar Papi Jammeh levelled the score for Jeshwang City in the 58th minute to settle for a draw.
It was a fight for the top spot between the two, Jeshwang City, eventually occupied the apex of the group with a point advantage.
Musa Njie, the Head Coach of Jeshwang City, thanked Allah as their plan was to win and get the 3 point.
“This is what Allah made possible for us, so we have to accept it. And we have learned a lot, but nonetheless, we have to work hard to prepare for our next game,” he stated.
Kawsu Jallow, the Head Coach of Lunzan FC, said that he really feels bad about the game and expressed disappointment with the referee’s decisions.
“The rules the referee used, I have never seen it in football since I was born. The referee and the assistant miscommunicated on the goal we conceded.
Jeshwang City has seven points while Luzan has six points.
