Bonto United football team on Friday, defeated BasoriUnited 1-0 in the ongoing APS-sponsored Kombo East District League Competition at Mandinaba football field to reach quarter-final.
The first half of the game produced the needed result as Ebrima Sanneh scored the only goal for Bonto United in the 23rd minute of the time.
This only goal was enough for Bonto to seal their pose by capitalizing on defense in the rest of the playtime.
However, this was a big loss for Basori United as the only remained team from the Narang area.
Notwithstanding, this was recommended as the last game in the 12th round of the league competition until the quarter-final.
After the match, Ebrima of Bonto United’s goal and good performance earned him D500 and a certificate as the Man of the Match winner sponsored by Prince Empire Ltd.
