KEI Industries Ltd., one of the contractors implementing NAWEC’s World Bank-funded GERMP project in Nuimi, has extended condolences to the country over the electrocution of seven individuals at the GERMP project site on Wednesday.
“With great sadness and heavy heart,we would like to share the loss ofprecious lives of persons working for BBElectricals, Gambia on behalf of KEIIndustries Ltd. at site in Kerr Galovillage.
We also feel the pain of liveslost and would like to extend our deepest condolences to the familymembers, colleagues and loved ones ofdeceased persons,” a statement released by the KEI Industries on Thursday said.
“We are extremely shocked by this tragicincident and in touch with concernedauthorities and extending our fullestsupport and cooperation to find outcauses of this unfortunate incident,” the statement further read.
“In these painful times, we are standingfirmly with the affected families andwould take all necessary measures tomitigate their pain during this extremelydifficult time,’’ concluded the statementsigned by the Management of KEIIndustries Ltd., India.
