Babun Fatty FC defeated Manga 11 United by one goal to nil in the ongoing Serekunda West Development Association’s summer Nawattan on Thursday, 17 October 2024, to accumulate maximum points.
Babun Fatty FC and Manga 11 United played out a tough encounter in the first half, but nothing separates them.
Needed the game more than the opponents, Manga 11 United fought so hard to win, but unfortunately, they could not score a goal. They have created many chances, but doing the necessity in the final third was the problem.
Abdoulie Kujabi scored the winning goal in the 67minute, giving an advantage to Babun Fatty FC for a fourth win in a row.
The win is a stand-out record in Serekunda West mini-stadium this Nawattan season.
Abdoulie Badjie, head coach of Babun Fatty FC, said that it was a nice game and was a game that they really needed.
“We have some players in the team who never had any chance to play since we started the Nawattan, so today we filed them. They have done very well and won the game. They played a beautiful football as well,” he told The Voice in a post-match interview.
Sheriff Manga, head coach of Manga 11 United, did not offer any chance to the press for a post-match interview.
Babun Fatty FC has 12 points, while Manga 11 United has 5 points.
