Anfield FC humiliated Manga 11 United in a 3-0 outing in the ongoing wave-sponsored knockout preliminary Rounds at Serekunda West Sports Complex on Thursday 24th October 2024.
Adama Ndure scored a brace in the 11 and 81 minutes of the match, while Saihou Corr added joy to the jubilant Anfield side in the 83 minutes to demine the opponent.
Kwame Robinson, the head coach of Anfield FC, told The Voice newspaper in his post-match reaction that his team rectified mistakes made in the previous games played, commending, this great performance from his boys.
“I am very happy about the win, and I am encouraging my boys to continue the winning spirit. We will continue working hard and prepare to win our next game as well,” he joyfully told this reporter.
He stated that the early goal helped his team in their quest to curb the threats from the opponent team.
