T-Central and Gohh Bi won round 16th of the Africell Knockout League against the Spurs Youth team and BantabaFC respectively at the Serekunda Mini Stadium on Saturday.
T-Central FC played against the Spurs team and won through a penalty shootout in a match played at 3 pm. Both teams played a draw game in regulation time which led them to penalty kicks at the end of the match.
T-Central FC won Spurs by 5 goals to 4 at the final shot of the penalty kick-out and this winning by T-Central FC gave them victory to participate in the next round of the league.
Moreover, Gohh Bi defeated Bantaba FC 1-0 in a match played at 5 pm in the same venue. The goal was secured by Saikou Bah, number 12 player of Gohh Bi during the first 30-40 minutes of the first half.
Saikou’s only goal was enough for Gohh Bi throughout the game. However, Bantaba played so well and made different changes but couldn’t secure a goal.
