An alleged visa scammer SankungSanyang on Tuesday appeared before Magistrate K.B Sambou of the BrikamaMagistrates’ Court on charges of obtaining money by false pretense but he denied the charges.
Sankung is alleged to have received D100,000 from one Nyamo Bojang on promise of securing him a Schengen visa, a representation he allegedly knew was false.
The incident allegedly happened in the Kombo East village of Bonto in Novemberof last year.
Sankung was remanded on a D150,000 court bail following his denial of the allegations against him.
