Narrow Victory Sees Tababi FC Through to Next Round

Tababi FC have inched closer to another trophy this season as they narrowly edged out Fulham through a Lamin Taal second half strike in a nail biting encounter yesterday at the Wave sponsored  Serekunda West Sports Development Association’s Summer Nawettan.

Lamin Taal broke the deadlock in the 64th minute to give his team the much desired lead in the game but Fulham FC rekindled their fight and pushed hard for a leveller all to no avail as Tababi FC remained resolute and composed in their defending.

Alpha Bah, the head coach of Tababi FC, was all too happy to express his satisfaction for the performance of his boys.

“We won the game, we are so proud because winning is all that matters at this stage of the game, basically that’s the only thing I can say and in addition to that, we need to work more on our concentration, because it affected us during the game,” he stated in a post-match engagement with this medium.

The team coach for Fulham FC could not be reached to share his post-match reaction with the media.
