By: Kemo Kanyi

Tutti Cham, known by her stage name-Lady Joetalis will stage a VIP Concert at Brikama Youth Centre in January 2025, for the first time in her two-year music career.

In a male-dominated field, Lady Joetalis stands tall in her endeavor to see a dream of making a career in entertainment, showing her resilience to prove the doubters, who believe the adventure suits mainly males than females.

Lady Joetalis is a 27-year-old resident in Brikama Gidda. In her second year in the music scene, she has released 12 songs already and is planning to register a career success by organizing a ‘’VIP Stage Concert’’ with her ‘LANNAYAA BAND’ on January 31st at Brikama Youth Centre.

She is versatile in her performances, Lady Joetalis can perform on both playbacks and live performances. She can sing in different genres of music including Afro Manding, Ndaga, Afrobeat, Cultural Dance, and Dancehall.

‘’I am urging all Gambian music supporters to pull out in large numbers to show support because this is my first of organising such an event. This is my first concert since I decided to choose entertainment/music as a career. It’s not an easy job to be a musician. Those who listen to your music may have a better understanding of what you are singing. My advice to all artists is that let us sing songs that we can listen to even when we get old. We need to be responsible as artists when singing because we have a responsibility to shape the future generation positively,’’ she told Voice newspaper in an exclusive interview on Wednesday.

Lamin Jaiteh, her manager called on all Gambians, parastatals, government, and philanthropists to aid the female singer because she needs support to realize her dreams in a male-dominated industry.The team could be reached at: 5811192 and 5031164.
