Team Bai Doudou ably led by Bai Dodou Jallow, the current president of the Gambia Volleyball Federation, has been elected as the new president of the Gambia National Olympic Committee for the upcoming quadrennial period spanning from 2025 to 2028.

In a closely contested election, Jallow secured victory by garnering 26 votes to defeat Muhammed M. Jagana, who received 21 votes. While Lamin King Colley was elected unopposed as the first vice president, Bakery K Jammeh won the race for the second Vice president, Yorro Njie won the battle for the Secretary-General position through his defeat of Fatim Badjie, Bai Madi Ceesay won the battle for the post of Treasurer, and the trio of Amie Jambang, Abdoulie M Kah, and Fa Kebba Suso emerged as the three nominated members
