Gambia Police Force Welcomes Back PRO Sisawo After Successful Training in Beijing

The Gambia Police Force (GPF) has officially welcomed back its Public Relations Officer (PRO), Momodou Sisawo, following a successful completion of a two-week seminar training in Beijing, China. 

The training, which concluded on November 22, 2024, focused on advanced technologies and innovative systems in public safety, providing participants with valuable insights into modern policing strategies.

In a statement sent to media houses, PRO Sisawo expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to attend the training, acknowledging the trust and confidence placed in him by the police leadership. “The experience was truly remarkable, and the training proved immensely valuable,” he stated. He emphasized that the knowledge gained during the seminar would significantly enhance the operations of the Gambia Police Force.

Sisawo highlighted the importance of ongoing professional development in law enforcement, stating, “Now back, I am ready to continue the good job we have started in contributing to the advancement of the Gambia Police Force, striving to enhance public safety, peace, and stability in our nation.” His commitment to improving public safety was evident as he outlined his intention to implement the innovative strategies learned during the training.

The PRO also took the opportunity to express his appreciation for the support provided to his team, particularly during his absence. He specifically recognized the efforts of acting Public Relations Officer, Cadet Inspector Sainabou Manjang, for her dedication and leadership. 

“Your support made this invaluable opportunity possible,” Sisawo remarked, acknowledging the collaborative spirit within the police force.

As the Gambia Police Force continues to evolve in response to modern challenges, the return of PRO Sisawo marks a significant step toward enhancing the effectiveness of public safety initiatives in the country.
