The Latrikunda German Police have apprehended an 18-year-old male, Sheikh Njie, in connection with a break-in and entering incident that resulted in the theft of sixteen air conditioning (AC) compressors valued at D90,000.
The arrest occurred on Monday, November 25, 2024, following a prompt investigation initiated after the theft complaint was lodged.
According to police reports, officers swiftly responded to the scene of the crime, where they conducted a thorough examination of the premises. Their investigation included a review of CCTV footage, which proved instrumental in identifying Sheikh Njie’s involvement in the crime. The footage not only captured Njie’s actions but also revealed the presence of two accomplices who are currently evading capture.
