Information reaching this medium through a press release by the police has it that the police in Basse are currently investigating a suspected murder that occurred in Jah Kunda Village in URR. The victim was a female health worker who tragically lost her life following an assault by an individual in the same village on 11th December 2024.
The release adds that the incident was reported to the SarengaiPolice Station by the staff of Yerobawole Health Center. Officers the release notes promptly responded to the scene, apprehending the suspect from Jah Kunda and recovering the alleged murder weapon, a pestle. The suspect is in police custody while the deceased is being transported to the hospital in Basse.
