Malick Bah and his twin brothers Sanna Bah and Sainey Bah appeared before the Brikama Magistrates’ Court to answercharges of “house breaking and stealing”.
Prosecutors alleged that Malick Bah on or about 28 August 2024, at Sanyang village in Kombo South, broke and entered into the house of one Ousman Ceesay with the intent to commit a felony therein to wit-stealing-thereby committed an offence
Prosecutors also alleged that Malick Bah, Sanna Bah and Sainey Bah on or about 28 August 2024, at Sanyang village, without claim or rights, stole two smart tv sets marked LED valued at D30,000.00, a channel decoder valued at D4,700.00, four door mats valued at D1,440.00, clothes valued at D2,880.00, a pair of shoes valued at D5,600.00, a bag valued at D6,840.00, towels and 10 bed sheets valued at D1,440.00 and CCTV valued at D2,880.00. The items, properties of a certain Ousman Ceesay, were cumulatively valued atD55,740.00.
Malick, who was separately charged with burglary, entered a not guilty plea while he and his siblings denied the joint charge of break-in and theft.
The trio was given bail in the sum of D30,000.00 and eachmust have a Gambian surety to enable them gain their liberty as their cases continue.
The matter was adjourned to 8 January 2025, for hearing.Corporal 7232 E. Fofana represented the Inspector General of Police during the mention of the case.
