Opposition United Democratic Party leader Mr. Ousainou Darboe has vowed that his continual strive in politics is for a better living condition for Gambian youth, but his concern is ‘how to change the condition’ of the young people of the country.

Addressing party supporters in Farato village, West Coast Region, he stressed to continue the endeavor until the young people of the country get the facilities and opportunities they deserved.

My conscience would not allow me to live in a luxury lifestyle knowing that my parents couldn’t afford to provide basic needs for me. My children can buy any luxury car for me that I desire. They can fly me to any developed country of my choice, but I said no to those opportunities until I see you in better living conditions,’’ Darboe told the youth of FarartoBojang Kunda while urging them to stay resilient on the cause of national interest in a grand political rally on Saturday.

He urged the young people to get registered in the national voting system so they to choose a leadership that would consider pride.

‘’Those of you who did not have voters’ cards, get yourselves registered and give your votes to ‘’Baba’’ to change your living conditions. We can only change the government from the ballot box. Therefore, I urge you to do the needful,’’ he advised.
