President Barrow made this acknowledgement when The Voice’s Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief, Musa S. Sheriff, was introduced to him by Mrs. Amie Bojang-Sissoho, director of Press and Public Relations at State House during the first-ever presidential Media Dinner hosted at the presidency on Saturday.

Aunty Amie, as she is widely known, made the move to introduce to the President Mr. Sheriff, who was waiting to greet the Gambian leader, as he went round to greetthe guests but the President told her: “Musa, I know him.The Voice was the first to published me.”

Mr. Sheriff took the opportunity to thank the Gambian leader for dropping the charges against him and The Voice Media Company and also prayed for the wellbeing of the first family and the nation.
