Man Admits Burglary Charges

One Modou Lamin Jawara has pleaded guilty to the charge of burglary and judgement is expected to be delivered in his caseat the end of January.

Modou Lamin admitted to breaking into the house of one Amadou M.B Saidy in Jalambang village on 7 January 2025, with the intent to commit a felony therein, specifically theft.

He, however, denied the allegation of stealing two mobilephones from Saidy.

Sgt. 4422 M.L. Sallah, representing the Inspector General of Police, requested an adjournment for the reading of the facts of count one and to secure witness for count two.

The court granted the prosecution’s request, and the case was adjourned to January 28th, 2025, for the reading of facts and the full hearing on count two.
