NAFAA, a burgeoning political entity in The Gambia, has positioned itself as a transformative player in the country’s political arena.
According to the party’s stance, NAFAA was established by a group of Gambian youths and experienced professionals with the goal of spearheading accelerated national development rooted in the nation’s identity, history, and values.
At a pivotal moment in Gambian politics, NAFAA asserts that traditional parties have been largely centered around tribal demographics, while smaller personality-based factions have failed to gain traction. The party aims to depart from the political landscape shaped by these models.
NAFAA’s vision, as outlined by the party, is to elevate The Gambia to a level of prosperity comparable to successful African nations like Mauritius, Cape Verde, Rwanda, Ghana, and Kenya. Their goal is to create an economic landscape that aligns with inclusive and conservative values, paving the way for sustainable development and growth for all citizens.
Under the leadership of educator and advocate Ousainou Allen, NAFAA says it advocates for principles of self-reliance, economic freedom, and the preservation of fundamental human rights to establish a sovereign and independent Gambia. The party posits that unity among diverse backgrounds is crucial to achieving shared progress and establishing a foundation for improved living standards nation-wide.
As NAFAA emerges as a new and impactful presence in Gambian politics, the party asserts their platform to be a reflection of their vision for positive change, citizen empowerment, economic advancement, and the preservation of enduring national values.
