A certain Amie Colley was on Monday arraigned before the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court on charges of obtaining money through pretence.
According to the particulars of offense, Amie Colley, with intent to defraud, obtained D105,000 from one Momodou Alieu Jallow in December of last year at Westfield on the pretext of selling him a seven-passenger motor vehicle marked Opel.
She denied the charges and was consequently given a court bail in the sum of D180,000.00 and she must have two Gambian sureties, who shall deposit their valid national identity card or passport to the office of the court registrar and depose to an affidavit of means.
