Former senior NIA operative Alhagie Basiru Gassama of Bakau has called on ex-President Yahya Jammeh to exercise patience and come to terms with the fact that Allah has set a timeline for everything.
In an impassioned message for the former Gambian strongman, Gassama emphasized the importance of patience in the face of challenges.
He expressed his wish for Yahya Jammeh to try an exonerate himself from the accusations made against him as, according to him, he never witnessed Jammeh perpetrate any human rights abuse as indicated by the testimonies from the TRRC public hearings.
“Let him go and testify to all the allegations, whether it’s true or not. Time has ended, and he should take God’s decision in good faith,” Gassama stressed.
His words echoed a message of resilience and trust in divine timing, encouraging Jammeh to trust in the divine plan and face his challenges with patience.
