Following the armed robbery incident that occurred at the El Hella Company on 8th of February 2025, the Executive Coordinator of Banjul City Council, Ebrima Jawo accompanied by Commissioners of the Gambia Police Force, and Gambia Immigration, Banjul on 12th February 2025 visited Seedy Ahmet of El Hella Company in his office situated at Daniel Goddard (Hagan) Street to console the management over the sad incident.
When the armed robbers struck the El Hella Company on 8th February they carted away huge cash in dalasi and foreign currencies.
Commenting on the visit, Honourable Ebrima Jawo, Executive Coordinator of Banjul emphasized that the visit was to provide moral support to the company and assure the business of the security services’ willingness to safeguard the interest of all citizens and non-citizens living in The Gambia.
Seedy Ahmet of El Hella expressed gratitude to the team led by the Executive Coordinator for the visit and their assurances.
