 Ministry of Public Service Officials appreciative of Lamin Koto-Jangjanbureh PACD Project

 The Minister of Public Service and Deputy Chief of Staff who also double as the Head of DSPD on April 14, 2025 expressed their appreciation to Lamin Koto and Jangjanbureh Programme for Accelerated Community Development (PACD) project for having clean Bank Accounts.

 Hon. Baboucarr Bouy and Mr. Alieum Loum show their appreciation to the two communities in day two of their visit to PACD project sites in North Bank, Central River, Lower River and West Coast Regions.

 “Your Bank accounts indicated to us that you project is benefiting you people directly, which we are optimistic that it is because of the good management team you have,” Minister Bouy and Deputy Chief of Staff Loum informed the two communities.

 They advised the two communities to continue their financial contribution and also keep records of their expenditures which they said, is the only way to sustain their project.

 Public Service Minister Bouy and team have this to say to the beneficiary communities: “Take full ownership of your project because, there are many communities in the country who need this project, but your communities are lucky to get the project.”

 Kaddy Jawla and Lamin Fanta Jawla of Lamin Koto, tractor management committee and Moriba Jallow, President Rice Growers Society of Jangjangbureh and her Vice President Mrs. Buntung Gannes both welcomed Minister Bouy and team visit to their project sites.

 “This project you brought to us here is benefitting us as a community and we did not regret why you brought this project to our door step,” beneficiary’s communities of Lamin Koto and Jangjanbureh told Minister Bouy and team.

 Before proceeding to Jimbala Ali Incha, Minister Bouy and team made a stop-over at Alhagie Cham Arafat Welding workshop where they were taking on a conducted toured of the premises explaining to   Hon. Bouy and team the different types of machines they locally make.

 Key among the machines they made are the Coos milling, rice grinding, key parts within the tractors, poultry feeding grinding machines among others    

 Similar visit was conducted in the PACD project sites at Mureh Kunda, Mana Koto Foday/Mana Koto Keita joint borehole project and Kumbija in the URR, Kwinella Nyakunda in LRR, Foni Mayork and Sanghajorr milling and threshing machines project sites in WCR.

 Minister Bouy’s delegation during the visit include: Permanent Secretary (PS), Ministry of Public Service, Pateh Jah, Deputy Chief of Staff and Head of DSPD, Mr. Alieu Loum, Economic Growth Cluster Lead at UNDP, Samba Jallow and Director, Delivery, Ministry of Public Service, Mr. Amet Sallah.
