Community leaders, including Basiru Ceesay, Momodou Bah, and Hamat Njie—alkalolu of Njie Kundaring, Pallen Amdalaye, and Ndeykumba Ya—thanked JAMSAI Foundation for its much-needed support to families in the region.
Oustass Omar Darboe, proprietor of Kinteh Kunda Janneh Ya Quranic Memorization Center, highlighted that the donations would complement parents’ efforts and enhances the learning of the Holy Quran.
Similarly, beneficiaries Maimuna Jobe and Fanta Bayo of Njie Kunda and Pallen Amdalaye described the assistance as timely, addressing the clothing needs of women, boys, and girls.
Imam Yogo Jawo of Ndeykumba Ya commended the initiative, stating that it aligns with Islamic teachings on caring for and sharing with the needy, as emphasized in the Holy Quran. He also used the opportunity to appeal for the construction of a mosque, noting that the absence of a local mosque forces residents to walk 4 to 5 kilometers to perform Friday prayers.
